Our services

We're passionate about education and preventative care, and we strive to make every visit as low-stress and friendly as possible.

Reproductive services

A primary interest of Dr. Stohs.

  • Artificial insemination, vaginal and surgical
  • Semen collection and evaluation
  • Progesterone levels
  • Ultrasound and pregnancy detection
  • Cesarean section
  • OFA and PennHIP certified

Chiropractic care

Chiropractic will not fix everything, but many times it can be used with traditional veterinary care to get the most from treatment. Dr. Stohs is a certified animal chiropractor. It may help with:

  • Allergies, hot spots and constipation
  • Arthritis, back pain and lameness
  • Neurological issues and seizures

Wellness exams

A thorough exam at every visit, plus a talk about your pet's diet and lifestyle. Preventative care keeps pets healthy longer and saves you on vet bills in the long run.

Vaccinations

The right vaccines depend on how your pet lives. Outdoor pets and pets that board often need special attention, so we recommend testing and vaccines based on your pet.

Puppy and kitten exams

We watch nutrition, growth and development closely, help with house training and behavior, and work out the right timing for spaying or neutering.

Surgery

No surgery is routine. Each patient gets its own surgery and anesthesia plan, and a technician stays in the room to monitor your pet under anesthesia.

Dental care

Dental evaluations, routine cleanings and surgical extractions under anesthesia. Pets can't brush, so we coach you on how to help.

Diagnostic services

In-house lab, blood work and urinalysis, ultrasound imaging and digital radiography.

Internal medicine

For chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, Cushing's or Addison's disease: a realistic treatment plan that looks at diet and exercise as well as medication.

Laser therapy

Our high-energy cold therapy laser uses light to help wounds heal faster and to ease back pain, arthritis and chronic injuries. Ask us whether it fits your pet.
